Look Who Has A Web-Site!
D'rothy and I are very excited to have our first Web-Site!
We have heard so many great things about the fascinating advances in Computer-based information sharing that we knew we had to get involved.
I have an Amiga 2000 Home Computer (HC), which a technologically gifted neighborchild was able to fasten together with a 14.4 KBAUD (I don't know what that means, but thankfully young Gary does!) modem, which is like a telephone line for your computer. It's amazing. I have already been able to "surf the web" to different 'Sites, and I have even found a HomePage which allows me to download WAV (pronounced "wave," I found out) sounds, like a bird chirp. I guess it's time to save up for speakers.
D'rothy does not have a computer, but I told her she can use mine any time she wants to. When I told her that there are free Word Jumble games on the InterNet, she almost blew a gasket, which is slang for making a pastry in celebration.
I can't wait to surf more of the Web and report about the fun things I found. I hope I don't get any "viruses" or "comp bugs"! Wish me luck. Or should I say *e-luck>/boldfont<!
